Hi all,
Although it will be a few more years before I do it, I am thinking about the engine rebuild. I intend to tow a camping trailer with my 600. Just a fun thing to do. The factory manual shows max towing capacity is 1100lbs. I do have a camping trailer that works for that.
I have heard that now modern gas is better quality, that the compression ratio can be increased for more power. My engine is the original with only 25,000mi on it. It burns blue as it was stored for a long time. It needs an overhaul.
Has anyone successfully done a performance upgrade to their engine. If so have you done it yourself or who did you get to do it? With the extra power does it run too hot at times?
I have a guy up here that says he can put a turbo on it but I would rather a stock appearance.
